A series of seminars exploring approaches to contemporary textiles through collaborative initiatives between museums, higher education institutions and practitioners.

The seminars will be held at Manchester City Gallery (July 22nd 2006), the Victoria and Albert Museum (September 22nd 2006) and at the University College for the Creative Arts (January 2007), as a collaborative project, for curators, academics and practitioners. Participants will discuss the role of museums, higher education institutions and professional practitioners in developing a framework for identifying needs and determining strategies for collaboration across and between sectors.
